Support Request Statuses. Currently the preset number of statuses is not overly flexible. The preset status workflow does not easily match up to our testing process. The number of support request statuses and the workflow they move through needs to be easily customisable.

Has there been any thought to this request? I am doing an assessment of our support processes at the moment and have found that the number of statuses available barely meets our needs. I would also be keen to see this able to be customised to fit our work flow rather than have to make our work flow fit the tool. |

We don't have plans to implement this feature. It has been our experience that when analysed in abstract, workflow often seems to demand a large number of complicated statuses and rules. However, in practise we find that the basic functionality provided by rap-X is sufficient for real world situations. This may not be the case for Surity, in which case we would be happy to consider developing a solution for this, but this would be a billable job. |
